Adult Basic Education

The Marcell Family Center is host to an Adult Basic Education program (ABE)! ABE is a program for people 17 years of age and older who are not enrolled in an elementary or high school setting and/or have some type of educational need below the 12th grade completion level. Adult Basic Education helps adults meet their responsibilities as workers, family members, and citizens, as well as improving self! We have many offerings available for you: GED preparation; improving basic reading, writing, and math skills; college preparation; job search and employment skills; computer (academic and job focused); etc. If you are wondering if you are eligible or would like to know more about the program, please call Tracy Chase at 218-832-3444.
